New gearboxes - 02K

This gearbox is a replacement for the 02K gearbox common in VAG cars (see above). It has been developed as a reinforced alternative to the original VAG gearbox which, in its original design, has inherent weaknesses in the differential/ transaxle and in the synchronisation.

Reinforcement mainly consists of the following

1. 
   The most common reason for this type of gearbox failing is the rivets breaking off.
    
Stronger bolting to the crown wheel
2. Double synchroniser rings in first and second gear for improved durability and easier shifts
